The solo exhibition of artist Titania Seidl has concluded. We were fortunate to invite the artist and her collaborator to the gallery on August 11th, 2024, where they jointly participated in the planning and opening of the exhibition, which concluded with the arrival of autumn.
Titania Seidl’s works feature explorations of medieval iconography. In her artistic narratives, images from the Early Renaissance and the Middle Ages intersect with everyday contemporary "historical artifacts" and symbols, all imbued with a mystical tone. ARCH CHANNEL conducted an interview in the Changsha Exhibition Hall of Arch Gallery with very specific questions, focusing on three themes: the design and curatorship of the exhibition itself, the relationship between rationality and sensibility in the symbolic systems of her works, and the context of her creative process.
